Problem, Insight or Question

In the creative industry there is a propensity to interpret
overt ornamentation as ‘quality’ work. I decided to be a
bit sarcastic with that notion.

Description
To advertise a typographic exhibition in Sydney,
I created a design heavily based upon the work of
french heraldic engraver and typographer Charles
Demengeot. It was then subverted with my own spin
of threatening symbolism and a liberal peppering of
bullet holes at a local gun range with loose rules
for a post-modern twist.
