I’m not addicted to much. Maybe if I think about it - women who seem to date me just to put me down and leave? I quit that habit though. What I am addicted to is music. Not weed. Not coke. Not ol’ sweet hezza. Tunes. Ever since I was a kid and I got my hands on a Walkman, I never took it off. I actually get what’s known as ‘frisson’. Look it up, it only occurs in a third of the population. I just fucking love the stuff. If it could be snorted I’d have no nasal cavity left. If it could be injected, I’d be wheeling around an IV drip. Everytime I go for a run I’ve noticed how music affects my workouts, so when this idea crossed my desk, I was all devil horns. I totally got it. Anyhow, this piece uses procedurally generated graphics, which although never mentioned in any of the PR, creates the graphic designs - from sound. Something I hope to use again someday…
