This was the first job I did where I was truly able to be myself after a stint at Droga5. I didn’t feel like I achieved anything interesting at all while I was there, even though I worked on some huge notable campaigns. Ultimately, I don’t think what I did there was ever really showing what I felt I was capable of. I knew I could do more, but the ego’s were so huge and my personality didn’t match. Rarely does. I found out much later there was a reason for this, pretty obvious when you look at my work. Not ‘neurotypical’. But who isn’t these days. This job combined a technique of animation from the late 1800’s, with modern 3D tech to achieve an effect impossible without either. A good example of how my mind works. Also, my childhood interest of skunkworks finally paid off. Still proud of it to this day.
